How youll make an impact in this role

• Organize sterile drapes, solutions, and specialized instrumentation to ensure absolute readiness before the procedure begins.
• Provide precise, anticipatory instrument handling and assist the surgical team dynamically throughout the operation.
• Direct and assist with the secure preparation, transport, positioning, and draping of patients to guarantee comfort and safety.
• Maintain an impeccably organized sterile field and execute meticulous count protocols to prevent retained foreign objects.
• Facilitate the overall safety, efficiency, and smooth workflow of the surgical environment from setup to closure.

What minimum requirements youll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• 3+ years of surgical tech experience
