Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions, in collaboration with physicians or autonomously (as credentialing allows)
• Providing education and guidance to patients and families regarding disease prevention, wellness, and management
• Prescribing treatments and medications within your authorized scope of practice

• Working in multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care
• Maintaining accurate and complete records in electronic medical systems (EMR)

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certification Criteria

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in North Carolina
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a comparable specialty
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain them within 90 days)
