Financial Analyst I
Woodland Hills, CA
Payrate: $35.17 per hour on W2
Summary:
This position will be a supporting role for Digital finance. Duties include, but are not limited to, revenue recognition, maintaining third-party contractual compliance and ad hoc financial projects. This position reports directly to the Associate Director of Digital Finance.
This specifically covers the following three areas:
- Processing third party account transaction files into systems
- Review reported data for accuracy and completeness
- Review of data load into the sales system, creating corresponding journal entries to record revenue
- Review and reconciliation of the data created from digital sales processor with downstream systems
- Resolution of transaction file issues with third party accounts
- Maintain third party reporting and payment status report
- New partner onboarding
- Review and clearance of suspense transactions resulting from inaccurate data submissions from third party digital accounts
- Management and label reporting of digital revenue
Other key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Review third-party contracts for compliance and entry into contract database
- Communication with third-party companies regarding all issues of compliance
- Support audit requests, forecasting and planning
- Support user testing
- Special projects and analysis as required
Requirements:
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with employees at all levels of our company
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate Excel proficiency, including use of pivot tables and worksheet functions
- Bachelor's degree with a major in Finance or Accounting required
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in related field required
- SAP experience a plus
- Entertainment industry experience a plus
