Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity working as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Worcester, MA. This full-time role is set to begin as soon as possible and extends through the end of the school year, providing a fulfilling chance to make a significant impact on students’ communication skills in a supportive educational environment.
Ideal candidates will hold SLP-CCC credentials and demonstrate previous experience in a school-based setting. Your expertise will help guide students in reaching their speech and language milestones, enriching their academic lives and helping them build confidence.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLP-CCC certification is required
- At least one year of relevant experience in a school or pediatric setting
- Current state licensure as required
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that support students’ IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students from diverse backgrounds
- Maintain accurate session notes and progress reports
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations
- Educate staff and families on effective communication strategies
- Foster an inclusive and positive environment that encourages student growth
