RN Clinical Specialist Operating Room

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, has served the citizens of Manatee, Sarasota and surrounding counties for over 70 years. The 295-bed hospital with over 800 physicians, residents and allied health professionals, offers advanced healthcare services in a caring and compassionate environment. Services include cardiac care and cardiovascular medicine, emergency care for all ages, surgery services including robotic-assisted surgery with the da Vinci Surgical System, a weightloss program, orthopedic services, outpatient and inpatient radiology and rehabilitation, respiratory care, sleep, oncology, wound care and women's and children's services. Manatee Memorial Hospital also offers a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for babies with special needs.

Position Summary: Assumes shift responsibility and accountability for the planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care to the patient, family, care partner and appropriate others. Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members, directs and facilitates nursing staff in obtaining safe optimal health care outcomes, and reviews and audits documentation. Supports activities that meet the facility vision, mission and goals. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Job Information: This opportunity is for a full-time days RN Clinical Specialist position in the Operating Room.

Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience in specialty, required

Minimum of one (1) year of direct supervisory experience, preferred

Qualifications

Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing

Current RN licensure in Florida

Current BLS through American Heart Association

Current ACLS through American Heart Association

Current PALS through American Heart Association
