Mechanical Engineer PE

We are seeking an experienced and licensed Mechanical Engineer (PE) to join a growing engineering and design team in Orlando, FL. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone with strong technical expertise in mechanical systems design and project management within commercial, institutional, or industrial settings. Key Responsibilities Design and oversee HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems for a variety of commercial and institutional projects Prepare construction documents, specifications, and technical reports in compliance with codes and client requirements Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system layouts using AutoCAD or Revit Collaborate with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines to deliver cohesive and coordinated designs Conduct field visits, system inspections, and quality assurance for active projects Support junior engineers and participate in project planning and budgeting Must-Have Qualifications Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida Minimum 5 years of relevant mechanical design experience Proficiency in HVAC design , AutoCAD, Revit, and mechanical system modeling Strong knowledge of building codes, ASHRAE standards, and mechanical systems integration Excellent communication and organizational skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Terrelonge Staffing
