Lab technician

Looking for a lab technician with experience for a project in Lavergne Tn! Are you a hands-on technician with a sharp eye for detail and a knack for mechanical systems? We're looking for a reliable, independent Quality & Test Technician to ensure our equipment meets the highest standards. If you love working with power tools, precision instruments, and dynamic shop environments, this is the role for you!

salary: $30 - $32 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

2-5 years in product testing, a quality lab, or a manufacturing/technician role - ideally from a machinery, power-tool, or industrial-equipment environment (or a test lab / heavy-equipment service background)

• Proficient with calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, tape measures, and able to read drawings/specs to tolerance

• Follows written test procedures precisely and documents results accurately; basic Excel for data entry

• Independent (unsupervised) pneumatic-tool experience and basic electrical awareness (single- vs. three-phase, safe handling of powered equipment)

• Mechanical aptitude for assembly/disassembly of fixtures with hand and power tools

• Comfortable in an industrial shop with elevated noise; able to lift 50 lb and stand for extended periods. Steel-toe shoes are mandatory; hearing protection is provided.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
