Senior Product Owner

Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Product Owner to join one of our clients' product teams. This is an opportunity for a strategic, relationship-focused professional who enjoys partnering with business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.

In this role, you'll act as a trusted partner between business and technical teams, helping translate complex business needs into scalable product solutions. You'll guide product direction, prioritize work based on value and impact, and collaborate across multiple stakeholders to deliver solutions that support critical business processes and client experiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders, subject matter experts, and technology teams to define product vision, priorities, and success measures

• Translate business challenges and opportunities into well-defined features, user stories, and actionable requirements

• Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing strategic initiatives, operational needs, and customer experience improvements

• Lead requirements gathering, backlog refinement, and sprint planning activities to support successful delivery

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle to drive high-quality outcomes

• Facilitate conversations across stakeholders to build alignment, remove obstacles, and ensure transparency

• Communicate product roadmap updates, delivery progress, and business value to stakeholders at varying levels of the organization

• Support continuous improvement efforts while mentoring team members and promoting Agile best practices

The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's degree required

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar product-focused role

• Strong experience working with business stakeholders in complex, enterprise environments

• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into product requirements and prioritized backlogs

• Experience managing multiple initiatives and competing priorities while maintaining focus on value delivery

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product management best practices

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to navigate ambiguity, influence decision-making, and build trusted relationships across teams

• Experience supporting wealth management, asset management, investment advisory, or financial services technology platforms preferred

• Familiarity with advisor-facing applications, client onboarding workflows, portfolio management capabilities, account servicing platforms, or investment operations processes is highly desired

• Experience supporting customer-facing platforms, digital experiences, wealth and asset management solutions, or other highly regulated financial services environments is preferred

• Technical knowledge of integrations, APIs, middleware, data flows, or modern application architectures is preferred
