Details Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care unit in a Level One Trauma Center Patient population includes trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Every other weekend required Rotating holiday coverage required 48 hour per week schedules accepted for interested candidates Requirements Active NY RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or RQI required Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience in trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients required Trauma Level One experience required Epic EMR experience required Previous travel nursing experience required Competency test must be completed within 24 hours of consideration Minimum 1 supervisor or manager reference within the past year required (charge nurse references not accepted) No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Medical exemption signed by a licensed professional required for flu vaccine exemption (personal or religious exemptions not accepted) Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients Navy blue scrubs required No blocked scheduling allowed More than 3 call outs in a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks RTO must be requested at time of consideration Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible American Traveler Job ID P-769446.
