We are actively seeking a Maintenance Custodian to join our team located in Dedham, MA. **This is a temp-to-perm position.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for cleanliness of AliMed buildings. Normal maintenance of office spaces, bathrooms, conference rooms and common areas. Assists with and performs semi-skilled tasks of a general nature in connection with maintenance, repair and construction tasks in the upkeep of buildings, equipment and groundsInspect properties and communicate with management regarding proper grounds keeping and general cleanup and maintenancePerform general grounds keeping on an as needed basis. Snow and ice removal with shovels, snow blowers, and a snowplow equipped vehicle in seasonPrepares requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning. Other maintenance tasks as assigned.Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Ability to read and write English.Ability to do basic math.Has good organizational skills.Requires attention to details and ability to work independentlyPhysical Requirements: Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.Must have a valid Driver's LicenseMust be able to lift and carry up to >70 lbs.Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly.AliMed is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
