Maintenance Technician (HVAC Certified)

Fort Myers, FL

Certified Apartment Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a multifamily apartment community in Fort Myers, FL. We are looking for a reliable, skilled professional who takes pride in providing exceptional maintenance service and resident satisfaction.

Requirements:

✅ EPA/HVAC Certification Required

✅ Minimum 2 years of multifamily apartment maintenance experience

✅ Bilingual (English/Spanish)

✅ Experience with service requests, work orders, and apartment maintenance repairs

✅ Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems

✅ Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, and general maintenance

✅ Must have reliable transportation and basic maintenance tools

✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

Complete resident service requests in a timely manner

Diagnose and repair HVAC systems

Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community

Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues

Assist with unit turns and make-ready processes

Maintain community grounds and common areas as needed

Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Preferred Qualifications:

EPA Universal Certification

Strong customer service skills

Experience with occupied and vacant unit maintenance

Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members in both English and Spanish
