Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department, specializing in trauma, stroke, and STEMI care. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care, evaluating care effectiveness, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program Current Missouri RN license or compact licensure Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform prolonged standing, walking, reaching, and bending Key duties Providing compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment Collaborating with ED physicians Participating in a 16-week nurse residency program Working night shifts in a 63-bed unit with a nurse-patient ratio of 3-4 Benefits include Competitive incentives Education assistance Comprehensive insurance Retirement plans Shift differentials Free campus parking Ongoing professional development The department is expanding, adding more beds and enhanced facilities for improved patient care. #J-18808-Ljbffr Mental Health Association of Rochester
