American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with 2+ years of experience and TrueBeam expertise for a hospital oncology department treating a wide range of cancer diagnoses.

Details:

• Hospital-based Radiation Oncology department
• Treats all cancer diagnoses including Hodgkin's and Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, kidney and pancreatic cancer
• Uses advanced treatment techniques including Hyperarc, IGRT, SRS/SBRT, IMRT, and DIBH
• Uses Orfit setup equipment and TrueBeam LINAC machines
• Uses Epic/Aria for charting
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required

Requirements:

• ARRT(T) certification required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
• Adult Acute Care work experience required
• TrueBeam experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Experience with beam modifying/positioning and CBCT/kV/mV imaging
• Skilled in chart check and use of lift/transfer devices
• License required if applicable

Additional Information:

• Provide radiation therapy treatment to adult patients across a wide range of cancer diagnoses
• Perform external beam therapy and other advanced treatment modalities including respiratory gating and stereotactic radiosurgery
• Complete all facility-specific training modules within the first week of assignment
• Maintain strong radiation safety practices throughout patient care
• Not open to first-time travelers
• Candidates previously employed by the facility or its affiliates within the past two years will not be considered
• Returning travelers who completed a full year on assignment must wait at least one year before rebooking
• RTO limited to 10 days per 13-week contract, with blackout periods during select weeks
• No blocked scheduling requests permitted
• Local candidates accepted, with reduced rate for those residing within 75 miles of the facility
