Job Title: Commercial Maintenance Trainee (Path to Service Technician) Location: Concord, NC (with daily local travel to Uptown Charlotte) Work Model: On-Site Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (No weekends! One 5:00 AM start required per month) Compensation: $15.00 - $19.00 / hour (Substantial pay increase upon promotion to Service Tech)

About the Opportunity Are you mechanically inclined, comfortable with power tools, and looking for a company that will actually train you for a high-paying career? We are partnering with a growing commercial service provider based in Concord, NC, looking for a driven, punctual, and hardworking individual to join their team.

You will start by performing detailed cleanings and preventative maintenance on commercial ice machines at premium corporate and banking locations in Uptown Charlotte. This is not just a cleaning job—it is a hands-on tryout. For the candidate with the right attitude, work ethic, and mechanical aptitude, the manager will provide extensive, hands-on training to promote you to a full Service Technician.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Mechanical Aptitude: Prior experience operating hand tools and power tools is required.

• The Right Attitude: You must be highly driven, punctual, eager to learn, and motivated by career advancement.

• Professionalism: A self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently in corporate settings.

• Gear: Steel-toe boots are required on day one.

• Reliability: Must be able to accommodate one 5:00 AM early start per month.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Meet directly on-site at various corporate and banking locations in Uptown Charlotte (Parking is 100% expensed!).

• Perform comprehensive cleaning, sanitization, and basic preventative maintenance on commercial ice machines.

• Utilize basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

• Represent the company professionally while working in high-end corporate environments.

• Shadow and learn from senior management to build the mechanical skills necessary to become a Service Technician.

The essential functions of this role include:
