Primary Care Physician

Location: Newark, DE

Our organization is in search of a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to aid in the ongoing expansion of primary care services and accessibility initiatives within the Delaware region.

This full-service Family Medicine Center is dedicated to providing primary care to a medically underserved demographic in Newark, with a particular emphasis on the Latino community. The practice prioritizes culturally competent care, supported by a bilingual team committed to offering inclusive, patient-focused services.

Qualifications
  • MD or DO from an accredited institution.

  • Preferred Board Certification or Eligibility in Family Medicine.

  • Must be eligible for licensure in Delaware.

  • Dedication to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Role Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages.

  • Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic health conditions.

  • Focus on preventive care and population health management.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient interactions.

  • Engage in quality and performance improvement initiatives.

Schedule & Call
  • Full-time position with 36 patient-facing hours.

  • Flexible scheduling options available.

  • On-call duties on a 1:2 call schedule, phone-only.
