Lead MRI Technologist

Lead MRI Technologist responsible for overseeing daily MRI department operations, performing MRI procedures, and producing diagnostic images under physician direction. Responsibilities: Lead and supervise MRI staff, interview and recommend candidates, provide training, evaluate performance, and manage staffing levels and call schedules. Technical duties: Alter imaging protocols, monitor patient conditions during scans, and communicate with medical professionals about patient care. Qualifications: Associate’s degree from an ARRT accredited institute, MRI Registry certification (ARRT or ARMRIT), and at least 1 year of hospital MRI experience; 2 years preferred. Skills & Abilities: Leadership, team building, patient safety, data analysis, scheduling, customer service, communication, critical thinking, and familiarity with EHR and PACS systems.
