Fabricator Welder

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition SummaryCertified Boom Repair Service is looking for a skilled Fabricator/Welder to support a variety of fabrication projects. You will work on a variety of jobs using fabrication skills and welding techniques including MIG and stick. A great Fabricator needs to possess manual dexterity, an eye for detail, and proficiency across welding methods. They must have knowledge of mathematics as it pertains to precision fabrication and respect for safety precautions. Key ResponsibilitiesFabrication is significant part of responsibilities including precision measurements, cutting, grinding, fittingWelding on various material using MIG and stick techniques (will certify to appropriate AWS standards)Will be required to work in various shop temperature conditionsWill be required to work in confined spaces when necessaryOccasional mobile service work upon completion of certificationsMust be team oriented and have proven history of consistent on-time performanceQualifications and SkillsHigh school diploma or GED (Preferred)Basic welding tools and protective equipment (Required)Previous MIG 6G welding certification (Preferred but will recertify)Must be able to pass criminal background check and MVR Physical Requirements:Physically able to lift a minimum of 85lbsWork outside in all weather conditionsMust have current driver’s license and clean driving recordForklift/Crane experience a plusDetail-oriented with experience with measurement tools for welders.Tools UsedWelders, (MIG, STICK)Hydraulic Press, Grinder, Pry bars, drills, saw, precision measurement tools.Pneumatic tools, wrenches, impact wrenches, hand tools, hammers.Fabricating Jigs/Fixtures/Templates to match part/drawing with precision.\nCompany DescriptionCertified Boom Repair is a decades old, family owned and operated business with national recognition in the Crane and Boom repair domain.
