The Tort and Insurance Defense Practice is expanding and seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Associate to join a growing team representing clients in sophisticated personal injury tort and insurance defense matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator who values immediate client contact courtroom work and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to personal injury tort and insurance defense litigation matters
• Draft pleadings discovery requests motions and related litigation documents with accuracy and efficiency while providing strategic counsel on client matters
• Represent clients in depositions motion practice court appearances and other litigation proceedings while managing multiple assignments independently
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues to develop case strategies deliver exceptional client service and assume responsibility for client matters from inception

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials and an active New York Bar license in good standing (New Jersey Bar admission a plus)
• 4+ years of personal injury tort litigation experience with demonstrated ability to manage complex matters independently (trial experience a plus)
• Strong organizational communication and time management skills with professional judgment problem-solving ability and decision-making skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Superior written and verbal communication skills with ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and communicate professionally with internal and external clients
