Main Function

RockPointes Student Worship Leader executes weekly and seasonal worship events in student ministry and the administrative tasks pertaining to equipping and scheduling teams. This position is housed under the worship ministry, in support of the student ministry and its vision. This position can also serve in RPC Sunday Services and video content, schedule pending.

Tasks & Responsibilities
Leads weekly worship services on Wednesday Night and Sunday Morning
Equips student volunteer teams for weekly services
Develops musicians for long-term growth
Attend weekly service-related Student meetings, emails, backstage restock/supplies, mail
deliveries and returns, printing off music charts/schedules, purchasing or overseeing
purchasing of small production/worship equipment, etc.
Seasonal calendar planning meetings with Student for special worship events
Recruiting and development of the Student Worship team
Onboarding new musicians through auditions
Production/Sound Booth support as needed
Keep booth and backstage organized and tidy
ProPresenter song building
Light show building
Planning Center editing, scheduling, and service building
Seasonal rotation in weekend Central Campus and/or Parker Square services, as assigned
Participation in video content with RockPointe Worship, as assigned
Church management software (TouchPoint) duties, such as
scheduling student worship events
Other duties or responsibilities assigned to by Worship Pastor and/or in collaboration with Student Pastor

Skills & Attributes

• Basic knowledge of, or ability to learn,platforms used by RockPointe Church:Bamboo,TouchPoint, eSpace,Nexonia,Martus,Asana, Canva,Facebook, Instagram, etc.
• Ability to interact with a wide range of people compassionately and patiently
• Ability to juggle multiple projects with a high degree of accuracy
  
• Ability to self-start and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal communication, and organizational skills
• Responsiveness and flexibility regarding time-sensitive changes and/or requests
