Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg, Viroqua, Wisconsin. This travel assignment starts 09/07/2026 and lasts for 12 weeks, with a weekly pay range of $2,071–$2,238 per week and guaranteed 36 hours. Shifts are 12-hour nights (7:00 pm–7:00 am) with every other weekend. You’ll work in a rural, 24-bed critical access facility where experience in ortho, cardiac, pediatrics, telemetry, and Epic EMR is valued.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to medical-surgical patients, including telemetry when indicated
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders; monitor for adverse effects and effectiveness
- Perform thorough patient assessments; document findings in the Epic electronic medical record
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust individualized care plans
- Monitor patient progress, respond to changes in condition, and escalate to rapid response as needed
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and post-acute care

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (as applicable by state requirements)
- Preferred experience in telemetry; Epic EMR experience is preferred
- Prior Med Surg, orthopedics, cardiac, or pediatrics exposure is advantageous
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and to meet assignment requirements
- Comfortable working in a rural, critical access setting
