Shift Leader

Our Shift Leaders run the show! Shift Leaders are the face of our business and the Smoothie King Brand. They help Guests meet their fitness and nutrition goals by helping select smoothies and retail products that inspire our Guests to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. They also maintain store standards and lead our Team Members in reaching store goals! Shift Leaders are trusted to open the store, handle on‑shift situations, and encourage our team throughout the shift. Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Responsibilities: Assisting the General Manager in the overall operations of the store in a leadership capacity. Ensuring a superior guest experience, maximizing sales performance, and driving profitability while maintaining a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Will complete the store opening/closing and follow opening/closing procedures. Makes bank deposits. Assist the General Manager with product ordering. Brand loyalty: Communicate and execute a positive brand impression to the overall Guest experience. Must ensure consistency and high quality preparation of smoothies and Guest service. Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of all areas. Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances. Essential Functions: Operates a blender and POS cashier system. Regularly moves boxes, weighing up to 55 lbs., throughout the store. Constantly positions self to bend, reach and scoop throughout assigned shifts. Ability to be mobile in walk‑in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F. The employee must be able to tolerate exposure to food allergens. Microsoft Office knowledge required. Knowledgeable of general POS functionality. Excellent communication skills, ability to give and receive feedback. Must be extremely reliable.
