Job Description Extra‑curricular coaching position available in the Rockwood School District for the 2026–27 SchoolYear, winter season, with a start date of November 2, 2026. Location: Rockwood R‑6 School District, Eureka High School, Eureka, Missouri. Position type: Part‑Time. Develop training programs, give instruction and feedback. Foster team cohesion. Plan competitions, contests, and out‑of‑season activities. Collaborate with school administration. Ensure compliance with all regulations. Promote sportsmanship and character development in an encouraging, inclusive environment. Proactively communicate schedules and information to parents and administration. Adhere to the standards of conduct outlined in District Form 5002 Code of Conduct for Coaches, Sponsors, and Chaperones. Essential Skills and Abilities Knowledge and experience in the sport or activity. Strong leadership skills; able to set an example. Effective communication skills to inspire players and guide improvement. Availability to work nights, holidays, evenings, weekends, bad weather, and travel with the team to competitions. (Head Coaches) Willingness to provide off‑season training and practice following MSHSAA Guidelines. Basic Requirements AED/CPR/First Aid Certified (preferred). Annual MSHSAA training requirements. Excellent professional references. Clean criminal and child abuse / neglect records check. High School Graduate, at least two years prior. Citizenship, residency, or work visa required. Equipment Used Standard office equipment. Sport / activity equipment. Work Environment Will require sitting, talking, hearing, walking, standing, seeing, and reaching. Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Work non‑traditional hours, including evenings and weekends. Compensation RSD contracted teachers receive a stipend; RSD hourly employees and non‑RSD staff receive the same stipend amount at an hourly rate. #J-18808-Ljbffr Young World Physical Education
