Position Summary Industrial Air Technology Corp. is seeking a highly motivated Designer/CAD Detailer to join our engineering and manufacturing team. This position is ideal for individuals with entry-level experience using 3D CAD software who are interested in developing a career in metal manufacturing, industrial equipment, or machine design. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering and production teams to create detailed drawings and models, maintain design documentation, and support manufacturing operations. Candidates should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently while adapting to evolving industry standards and technologies. Key Responsibilities Create and revise 3D CAD models, drawings, and manufacturing documentation. Produce detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for production. Maintain accurate engineering records and design files. Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing personnel to support production requirements. Assist with design modifications and continuous improvement projects. Organize and manage project documentation and revision histories. Support the development of custom equipment and engineered solutions. Stay current with industry standards, design practices, and CAD software updates. Skills Required Proficiency with 3D CAD software. Strong attention to detail. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Problem-solving and analytical thinking. Ability to Apply Skills and Knowledge Accurately develop detailed drawings and 3D models from engineering concepts. Interpret technical information and convert it into clear manufacturing documentation. Maintain organized project records and drawing revisions. Work independently with minimal supervision. Communicate effectively with team members across engineering and production. Identify design issues and recommend practical solutions. Adapt to changing project requirements and evolving industry standards. Support production schedules through timely completion of design work. Qualifications Associate degree, technical certification, or relevant coursework in CAD, Drafting, Mechanical Design, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred. Entry-level experience with 3D CAD software required. Experience in metal manufacturing, fabrication, or machine design is a plus.
