We install it on locomotives. We are taking this end application and making it production worthy but we have references that know the concept works but now we have to make it.BS or equivalent in Electrical Engineering2-5 years' experience in similar roleExperience in designing and testing electrical subsystems and system integrationExperience in technologies (as applicable):Electrical: hardware design including circuits for: embedded DC/DC power supplies, digital and analog inputs/outputs, embedded microcontroller interfaces, serial communications protocols, and modemsPrinted circuit board assembly and layout designBOM ownershipWiring harnesses, cabling, and electronics packagingBasic proficiency at programming languages (preferred) such as C, C++, C#Electronic Design Automation Tool Experience: Altium Designer (preferred), Cadence OrCAD, Mentor Graphics, KiCADQualifications:Must Haves:Bachelors in Electrical EngineeringFamiliar with layouts, don't need to do PCB layouts2-5 years experience (ideally doing digital/analog design from scratch, can look at someone who is doing edits or hardware testing who has Altium from school, don't rule them out)Need PCB design skills - Altium preferredPlus Haves:Programming experience is a plus (firmware on microchip, TI, Atmel)RTOSAnalog (power supplies)
