CT Technologist - Day ShiftMonday to Friday, 8-hour day shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with optional backup call from 4:00 PM to 6:00 AM.The Computed Tomography Technologist independently performs imaging procedures, showcasing judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in applying ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes within a hospital environment.ResponsibilitiesIndependently performs computed tomography procedures utilizing established scan protocols, including contrast administration.Adjust protocols as necessary to optimize imaging results while ensuring patient safety.Administers PO, rectal, and IV contrast according to physician orders and departmental policies, assessing patients for potential risks.Operates complex imaging equipment for acquiring, analyzing, and documenting image data.Communicates effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and understanding their concerns to facilitate cooperation.Ensures proper patient identification using two identifiers and follows universal protocol during procedures.Documents patient history and exam details in electronic records and ensures accurate coding and tracking of examinations.Works collaboratively with colleagues to expedite patient care efficiently.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureGraduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CNMT program.CT registry must be obtained within 18 months of hiring if not already acquired.Minimum of 2 years of experience required.ARRT Certificate and Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC).Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Compliance with state licensure requirements (e.g., PA Act 31, 33, 34, 73).Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and moreOnboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on careClinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contributionRecruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialtyExtras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and moreWe're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
