Senior Azure Data Engineer

As an Azure Data Engineer , you will collaborate closely with our clients and cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale Cloud Data Warehouse (DWH) and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. You will play a key role in supporting operational, tactical, and strategic reporting, as well as other analytical business needs. Your responsibilities will span the entire delivery lifecycle, from gathering business requirements to designing, developing, testing, and rolling out solutions. Key Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering: Participate in workshops with client stakeholders to validate business requirements and functional specifications. Solution Design: Design and implement BI/DWH applications to meet the Business Intelligence and reporting needs of large organizations, utilizing Azure Cloud technology platforms. Data Analysis: Analyze business areas, understand source systems' data, and map them to the DWH data model. ETL Development: Design, build, test, and deploy advanced ETL processes to move and transform enterprise data efficiently. Best Practices: Define and promote best practices, standards, and optimization techniques to enhance DWH/BI solutions. Team Leadership: Lead development teams throughout the delivery of Cloud BI/DWH solutions (for experienced candidates). Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of BI/DWH solutions with other systems and technologies. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in DWH/BI projects, preferably in the Banking or Insurance industry. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Azure Data platforms and experience in designing and implementing DWH/BI solutions. Leadership: Proven experience in leading small-scale teams and managing project delivery. Communication: Strong communication and presentation skills. Analytical Skills: Advanced analytical abilities and problem-solving skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and maintaining high quality. Preferred: We are seeking proactive and detail-oriented individuals who are passionate about working with Azure Cloud technologies and delivering high-quality data solutions. The ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in data warehousing and BI concepts, experience with Azure Data platforms, and the ability to lead teams and manage complex projects.
