Join a dedicated healthcare team supporting patient care unit operations through clerical, reception, and chart maintenance duties. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth communication and exceptional service. This role involves assisting visitors, families, physicians, and patients by addressing their needs with compassion and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform clerical tasks such as recording physicians' orders, dietary needs, and medication details.
• Answer telephone and intercom calls, providing information or relaying messages to patients and medical staff.
• Prepare discharge notices and manage requisitions for supplies, mail, newspapers, and flowers.
• Adhere strictly to privacy and security regulations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Serve a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to geriatric individuals.

Education and Experience:

• Recent experience in clerical work, keyboarding, and computer use is required.
• Previous exposure to a medical environment and familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.

Skills and Requirements:

• Basic clerical knowledge and keyboarding skills of at least 30 words per minute.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
• Strong communication abilities and a demonstrated capacity to work effectively with diverse teams.
