Job Summary:
An ICU Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Baltimore, Maryland. This role requires providing specialized care in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a facility within the organization. Candidates must bring their RN license on the first day. The position involves working night shifts, with a schedule of 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week. The ICU experience must include at least two years of current Surgical ICU experience, preferably at a level II Trauma Center, and candidates must have completed at least two previous travel assignments.

Job Details:

• Location: Baltimore, MD
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN License, BLS Certification, ACLS Certification, strong Surgical ICU experience (level II Trauma Center), at least 2 years of current Surgical ICU experience, at least 2 previous travel assignments, experience with EMR systems such as EPIC, and trauma course certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Critical Care Certification.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other areas of like skill set, ICUs, or Intermediate Care Units (IMCs).
• Additional Information: Candidates with previous employment in any capacity for any Johns Hopkins healthcare facilities, including staff, PRN, or travel roles, must note this in their work history and cover sheet to verify rehire eligibility. Candidates must be off any Johns Hopkins facility staff, PRN, or travel roles for at least one full year prior to applying as a traveler.
