Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct detailed assessments to identify clients' mental health concerns and the unique challenges they face.

  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific goals, leveraging various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

  • Lead engaging therapy sessions that foster a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their feelings and develop coping strategies.

  • Utilize evidenced-based practices and therapeutic techniques to help clients manage symptoms and progress in their mental health journey.

  • Regularly participate in supervision and case consultations to enhance clinical skills and share insights with peers.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Beacon of Hope, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our commitment to inclusivity means that you will interact with clients from various backgrounds and age groups, each with unique needs. By understanding these differences, you will tailor your approach to foster effective therapeutic relationships and enhance the overall patient experience.

Qualifications\n
    \n
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • \n
  • A state-issued independent license (one of the following is required):

      \n
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • \n
    • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
    • \n
    • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
    • \n
    \n
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct professional evaluations and provide treatment planning and implementation.
  • \n
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills paired with a compassionate approach to client care.
  • \n
  • Strong familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software.
  • \n
Preferred Experience\n

  • A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is preferred.

  • Experience in community-based counseling and proficiency with culturally competent practices.
  • \n
  • Familiarity with teletherapy practices and remote counseling tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually , commensurate with experience. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
