Building Automation Technician

Location: Minnesota, USA. Employment type: Full‑time, On‑site. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Building Automation Technician to support the delivery, programming, and commissioning of building automation systems across complex facilities. This role is ideal for a hands‑on technician who enjoys troubleshooting, system optimisation, and working on technically demanding projects. Key Responsibilities Program and commission Building Automation Systems (BAS) Develop and modify graphics for system interfaces Install and configure field devices, controllers, and networks Troubleshoot system, network, and controls issues on site Support project delivery from installation through handover Work closely with project managers, engineers, and end clients Ensure systems meet design intent and operational requirements Required Experience & Skills 3+ years of industry experience in Building Automation or Controls Strong Tridium (Niagara) experience (N4 preferred) Proven background in programming and commissioning Experience creating and editing BAS graphics Solid troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networks Experience working within: Schools / Education facilities, Hospitals / Healthcare, Laboratories / Life Sciences Nice to Have Experience with multiple BAS platforms (e.g. Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Schneider) Knowledge of HVAC systems, sequences of operation, and networking protocols Ability to read and interpret control drawings and specifications Why Join Us?
