Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR)

Pet Emergency & Referral Center (PERC) is seeking an experienced Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our growing team. If you thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy helping people during important moments, and excel at multitasking, we'd love to meet you.

Schedule:

• Four 9-hour shifts per week
• Shift options include 6:00am3:00pm, 9:00am6:00pm, or 11:00am8:00pm
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• Weekly schedule will vary between 3-5 days per week, not to exceed 40 hours

Compensation: $19.00$21.00 per hour based on experience

What You'll Do:

As a Veterinary Client Service Representative, you will:

• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and referral partners
• Manage a busy multi-line phone system
• Schedule appointments across multiple specialty and emergency departments
• Check clients and patients in and out efficiently and accurately
• Coordinate medical records and communication with referring veterinary hospitals
• Serve as a liaison between clients and medical teams
• Support pet owners during emotional and stressful situations with empathy and professionalism
• Maintain accurate client and patient information within hospital systems
• Assist with administrative and front desk operations as needed

What We're Looking For:

2+ years of veterinary client service, veterinary reception, hospitality, or customer service experience

Experience handling high-volume phone calls and multitasking in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to remain calm, professional, and compassionate during stressful situations

Experience de-escalating challenging client interactions

Strong computer and technology skills

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and hospital needs

Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional client care

Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
