Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 4x12 schedule may be available upon request

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and assess laboring patients, supporting safe delivery outcomes throughout the perinatal continuum
• Provide post-partum care as required by unit needs
• Float between like units or sister facilities nearby as directed by staffing needs
• Complete required modules prior to start and during orientation; orientation is expected to be approximately 36 hours
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission — pending licenses are not accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required; post-partum experience is also required
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP
• Charting experience in Epic
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of candidate submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AWHONN Advanced certification preferred
• Experience working in an acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with floating between similar units in a healthcare system
