College Faculty - Electrical Engineering

Overview Dedicated to Excellence, Committed to Service College Faculty - Electrical Engineering Faculty are responsible to prepare and teach courses using a Christian‑traditional philosophy of education in alignment with the college doctrinal position, mission, and values; mentor and advise students; assist with curriculum development and assessment; and participate in various committees and professional development opportunities. Responsibilities Prepare and teach assigned courses, aligning them with program and institutional outcomes and including appropriate content. Provide classroom, laboratory, or private lesson instruction from a Christian perspective. Evaluate and advise students: impartially assess achievement, provide timely feedback, and maintain regular office hours for academic and career guidance. Assist with curriculum development and assessment: participate in development, review, and modification; develop course syllabi outlining requirements, scope, and sequence; update courses annually based on student achievement and other inputs. Follow policies and procedures as outlined in the Faculty Manual; actively participate in assigned committees and professional development activities to enhance subject‑matter expertise and instructional effectiveness. Qualifications Educational requirement: Accredited terminal degree in the teaching field. Work experience: Mastery of subject matter is required. FLSA Status: Professional (Exempt). Physical requirements: Capable of using department‑specific software applications, comfortable with technology (including a personal computer). Other skills: Dedication to continuous improvement, constructive feedback, customer service, mastery of the field of study, interpersonal relationships, oral and written communication, organization, collaboration.
