Buoy 44 has an IMMEDIATE NEED for experienced line cooks. Full time, Part time and overtime available.
This is a on-site role for a Line Cook at Buoy 44 Seafood Grill, located in Virginia Beach, VA. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to order, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and ensuring food safety and quality standards are consistently met. Additional responsibilities include assisting with inventory management, collaborating with team members to ensure timely food service, and supporting kitchen operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Effective teamwork and communication abilities within a kitchen setting
- Prior experience as a line cook or in food service is preferred
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- A passion for culinary arts and delivering high-quality food to customers
