Below is essential data about the position. The role involves working in an Intensive Care setting. There are 30 beds in the unit with patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3. Equipment utilized includes pumps, temperature management devices, and EMR systems. Common patient conditions treated in this unit include sepsis, respiratory failure, substance abuse disorders, endocrine disorders, and psychiatric disorders. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude, flexibility, and empathy. The dress code requires navy scrubs and prohibits hoodies and non-affiliated sweatshirts. This position involves floating to other inpatient areas as needed during low census periods. The orientation process will include training modules and, if necessary, training on the EMR system. This is a replacement position for a vacant role.
