Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in New York, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 9 weeks 37.5 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Summary CT Technologist in the CT specialty working in an overnight setting. This role involves performing quality diagnostic computed tomography (CT) procedures, ensuring accuracy and safety, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The position supports the organizations commitment to providing exceptional imaging services. Job Details Position involves the utilization of appropriate kilovolt (kV) and milliampere (mA) techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic CT images. Performs daily quality control calibration checks on all equipment to ensure proper functioning before patient procedures. Injects patients with radioactive material following physician orders and prescribed protocols. Maintains documentation policies by ensuring all logs, manuals, charge documents, and equipment reports are completed accurately. Conducts quality control, quality assurance, and safety tests, adhering to radiation safety guidelines to comply with ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles. Maintains and retrieves patient films and electronic data for radiologist interpretation. Orders patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses one day prior to use and verifies receipt and activity levels upon delivery. Performs CT procedures according to prescribed protocols, exercising judgment to respond to patient needs throughout the process. Must be a graduate of an JCERT-approved School of Radiologic Technology and hold a New York State license (L.R.T.) and ARRT certification in Radiography and CT. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Schedule: Rotating shifts, Monday through Friday, 12 a.m. to 8 a.m., with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
