The overall aim of this role is to design seasonal collections of handbags and technical specifications for nationally recognized brands.The candidate needs to illustrate a deep understanding of designing into a brands DNA with a knowledge in both leather and PU manufacturing. Responsibilities: Design innovative handbag collections from concept through production. Research market trends, materials, colors, and consumer preferences. Create sketches, technical drawings, and design specifications. Develop seasonal concepts and product assortments. Collaborate with product development, sourcing, and merchandising teams. Review samples and provide detailed feedback for revisions. Ensure designs align with brand identity, quality standards, and target pricing. Produce attractive design work in Adobe Illustrator &Photoshop Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Accessory Design, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of handbag design experience. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design software. Strong knowledge of handbag construction, materials, hardware, and manufacturing processes. Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and trend forecasting abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Preferred Skills: Experience working with overseas manufacturers. Understanding of contemporary handbag and small leather goods categories. Strong presentation and communication skills.
