Equipment Technician - Semiconductor

You'll play a critical role in supporting test floor operations and ensuring the reliability of advanced semiconductor test equipment. Working alongside engineers and manufacturing teams, you'll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair probers and testers, manage probe card changes and repairs, and support equipment uptime. You'll also leverage software tools and data analysis to monitor equipment performance and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on semiconductor test equipment, probers, and testers.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform probe card changes, maintenance, and basic repairs.
• Support daily test floor operations and equipment readiness.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate component replacement.
• Monitor equipment performance and analyze operational data trends.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status.
• Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
• Partner with engineers and cross-functional teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field preferred.
• Excellent technical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Experience working with automated manufacturing, semiconductor, or test equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
