At ARK Hospitality, we believe exceptional dining experiences begin with preparation. The Prep Cook prepares fresh, high-quality ingredients that support restaurant, breakfast, rooftop, bar, banquet, and catering operations while maintaining food safety, consistency, and operational excellence.

$16 - $17 hourly

• Prepare ingredients according to standardized recipes.

• Portion, label, date, and store food using FIFO.

• Complete prep lists before service.

• Maintain organized coolers, freezers, and storage areas.

• Receive and inspect deliveries.

• Support breakfast, dinner, rooftop, banquet, and catering production.

• Assist line cooks during peak periods.

• Maintain clean and sanitized workstations.

• Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely.

• Report equipment issues or shortages immediately.

• Follow ARK Hospitality standards, Cambria brand standards, and health regulations.

• Assist with inventory and kitchen organization.

• Complete opening, closing, and cleaning checklists.

• Participate in training and cross-training.

• Previous kitchen experience preferred.

• Basic knife skills and food preparation knowledge.

• Ability to follow recipes and written instructions.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

• ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

• Physical Requirements

• Stand for extended periods.

• Lift up to 50 pounds.

• Frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and carry.

• Safely operate commercial kitchen equipment.
