Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse in Seattle, Washington. This position involves providing specialized care for adult and geriatric patients in an interventional cardiac and procedural unit. The role focuses on managing complex cardiac patients, performing invasive and diagnostic procedures, and responding to urgent clinical situations within a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS; two years of experience in telemetry or cardiac care; valid license to practice.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac telemetry, management of cardiac drips (non-titration), vascular sheath removal, and interventional cardiac procedures; familiarity with Epic charting system.
• Float: Float rotation may be required, indicating flexibility to work on different units.
• Additional Information: Heavy emphasis on interventional cardiac patients, including procedures such as cardioversion, pre/post angiogram, PCI, ablation, lead placement, pacer placement, TAVR, Mitral Clip, and structural heart recovery. Skills needed include sheath removal, blood treatments, dysrhythmia management, tele interpretation, and hemodynamic monitoring. Requires stable drips, sheath pulls, and dysrhythmia interpretation and management.
• Travel Experience Required: Yes.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Skills: Cardiac telemetry, management of cardiac drips, non-invasive airway management, post-procedure care, IV insertion, telemetry monitoring, sheath removal, and procedure sedation.
