Key qualifications and experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Proven experience working in virtual or blended educational settings
• Comfortable with technology platforms used in remote education
• Strong ability to create individualized education programs (IEPs) and implement supportive strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Primary responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to a small caseload of students in a virtual school setting from the district office
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Collaborate with the Special Education Director and school staff to ensure student success
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress records
• Participate in virtual team meetings and act as a liaison between the virtual program and in-person district staff
