IT Specialist

We are looking for a skilled IT Specialist to join our team. The IT Specialist’s role will be to assist with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of system software and related infrastructure. This individual will also be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of system hardware and software related infrastructure. Our ideal candidate is experienced in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and providing hands‑on technical support in an industrial/manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies Provide technical support for any hardware and software issues our users encounter Manage the configuration and operation of client‑based computer operating systems Create and verify backups of data Respond to and resolve help desk requests Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes Install and test computer‑related equipment Document network and system changes Other duties as assigned Qualifications Proven work experience as an IT Specialist or relevant experience Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues Familiarity with operating systems and platforms Excellent problem‑solving and multitasking skills Customer‑oriented attitude Experience with Microsoft Office 365 required. Microsoft tenant management a plus Network certification (e.g. CompTIA Network+) preferred Experience with Zoom phone system administration a plus Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Python scripting and Crystal Report writing a plus 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Additional Information Job Title: IT Specialist Work Environment: Office setting.
