HVAC Technician
Location: Middlebury Area (Take-Home Vehicle)
Hours: Full-Time | M–F, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $20.00 – $30.00+/hr + Spiffs and room to advance
OverviewA local heating and cooling contractor is hiring an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. We offer a steady schedule, take-home truck, light on-call duties, and strong sales incentives.
Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and service residential HVAC, geothermal, refrigeration, and control wiring.
Repair and install thermostats, humidifiers, and expansion valves.
Use mobile app software ( Smart Service ) for dispatches and work orders.
Drive straight to site daily (paid time starts upon arrival).
Participate in a light 24/7 on-call rotation (1 week every 5 weeks).
Hourly Pay: $20.00 – $30.00+/hr depending on experience.
Sales Spiffs: $300 per Geothermal unit | $150 per AC unit | Extra for accessories.
Perks: Take-home service truck.
Time Off: 9 paid holidays, accrued PTO (1 week after 1 year, up to 3 weeks), plus sick and bereavement leave.
5+ years of residential HVAC troubleshooting experience (geothermal preferred).
Strong electrical, refrigeration, and control wiring skills.
Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
Must live within 1 hour of Middlebury.
