CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant

The role requires a Surgical First Assistant with experience in cardiovascular surgery. Candidates should have hands-on experience with various surgical procedures. The clinician will assist during operations and manage the surgical environment. Daily workload includes approximately 8 surgical cases. Call responsibilities involve being on call 1-2 times per week and every 3-4 weekends. Professional conduct and effective teamwork are essential in this role. The candidate must have knowledge of current surgical techniques and technologies. A commitment to patient care and safety is paramount in this position. Candidates should be able to adapt to the dynamic nature of the surgical environment. Flexibility and excellent communication skills are necessary for successful collaboration with the surgical team.
