We run a fast-paced appliance dealership. Our delivery teams handle high-value, heavy inventory daily. We are not looking for someone who just wants to sit behind a wheel and zone out. We need a sharp, disciplined Lead Driver who can command a delivery crew, manage on-site logistics, and ensure absolute precision from the warehouse to the customer’s home.

If you cannot handle physical labor, manage a team, or pay attention to critical details, do not apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Crew Leadership & Accountability: Lead, direct, and oversee delivery personnel (including teams of drivers and helpers) on daily routes. You are responsible for their efficiency and conduct.
• Flawless SOP Execution: Ensure strict compliance with our formal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for appliance handling, loading, and damage prevention.
• Damage Control & Documentation: Take ownership of inventory integrity. If a unit has major damage or minor blemish, you must log it accurately under our SOP. No cutting corners.
• Client & Partner Interaction: Represent the company professionally on high-end job sites.

Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Extreme Attention to Detail: Must follow SOPs and delivery instructions, both verbal and written.
• Proven Lead/Command Experience: Heavy box truck driving experience and a clean driving record are required, but you must also prove you can manage a team.
• Flawless Professional Communication: You must be able to communicate clearly with the sales team, warehouse, and high-end clientele.

Note: This job requires a lot of heavy lifting and fine maneuvering. You will spend half your day in a climate controlled truck, but the other half is a lot of work. We recently had a newly hired person for this position quit after 3 weeks because the job was more work than he expected. We are upfront about expectations and we hold employees to these standards.
