There is never a dull moment with us.Job Description/Preferred QualificationsWe are looking for a Senior Reliability Engineer to join our team in Milpitas!Job DescriptionDevelop reliability program plans, reliability block diagrams and allocation models, FMECA, FTA, present to senior management and engineersAttend design reviews, provide feedback and assistance regarding design for reliability.Develop test plans and implement testing including setup and maintenance of reliability test fixtures in collaboration with design engineersPredict life of components based on subsystem testing and system reliability based on IRONMAN/MarathonsConduct failure analysis and suggest design improvementsDrive reliability improvement by monitoring tool performance, leading failure review boards and raising issues for resolutionWork with critical suppliers for reliabilityPerform data analysis using appropriate reliability techniques such as Weibull, Duane, Crow-AMSAA, etc.Responsible for reliability best practices for productParticipate in Product Life Cycle (PLC) management review meetingsTrain design engineering community on reliability principles and techniquesQualificationsMaster's degree in mechanical engineering, physics, or other relevant engineering fields5+ years experience in reliability3+ years experience in the semiconductor industryExperience with reliability of mechanical, opto-mechanical and electronic systems reliabilityExperience with laser reliabilityExperience with data acquisition and control softwareProficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), and Microsoft Project skills are a plus!Experience with Reliasoft Applications, e.g. Weibull++, Blocksim, Xfracas, would be a plus.Experience with electron beam sources is preferredMinimum QualificationsDoctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 yearsBase Pay Range: $141,300.00 - $240,200.00 AnnuallyPrimary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas-KLAKLA’s total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits, 401(K) including company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement program, development and career growth opportunities and programs, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits including an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off and paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.Interns are eligible for some of the benefits listed.
