Job Title: Sales Assistant Location: Salem, Virginia Shift: 1st Starting Compensation Range: $21.56 - $27.10 per hour The Sales Assistant position is responsible for performing administrative duties associated with projects and general office tasks, including but not limited to printing, copying, scanning, processing invoices, utilizing Docusign, etc. The Assistant also performs seasonal pricing updates in the ERP, downloading and filtering reports, and communicating with service on all new inventory arrivals. Requirements for the Sales Assistant position include: Self-starter able to work with limited supervision Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be highly organized and detail-oriented Must be able to communicate and network with Carter Machinery personnel throughout the company Must be proficient with data entry skills and Microsoft Excel Must be able to handle large volumes of work in a fast-paced work environment Must be willing to work shifts needed, including days, nights, and/or weekends to meet customer demands Promote a positive customer experience Uphold the Core Values of Integrity, Commitment, Excellence and Teamwork by embracing The Carter Way Seeking candidates with: Previous experience in an administrative role High school diploma or equivalent Previous sales support experience, a plus.
