Position Overview:

We're hiring a Video Producer who is excited to craft narratives and showcase solutions in creative, dynamic, and high-quality products. This is a hands-on role: you'll own projects from concept through final cut, including running the camera, lighting, and audio on shoots and doing the editing yourself. This isn't a job for someone looking to be an "order taker." We want your feedback, ideas, insights, criticisms, and creativity – all in the name of reaching the very best outcome. 

You’ll have opportunities to interact with all parts of the company – offering you deeper insight into how we work! This position runs Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (assuming a 30 min, unpaid lunch), is onsite at our Lititz Headquarters, and will work with the Marketing Team.

What You’ll Be Doing (Job Duties)  

• Shooting & Production: Plan and shoot A-roll and B-roll footage yourself, handling camera, lighting, and audio with professional quality (gear is provided by CNS). 
• Editing: Edit video with music, voiceover, and effects to deliver polished, on-brand content on schedule. 
• Animation: Create motion graphics and animations that enhance content and align with brand style. 
• Script & Storyboarding: Write clear scripts and visual outlines for training, marketing, and e-learning projects. 
• Creative Input: Offer visual and artistic ideas; incorporate feedback while balancing quality and goals. 
• E-Learning Development: Build engaging, video-driven courses in collaboration with subject experts. 
• Collaboration: Work across departments, managing multiple projects and adapting to feedback. 
• Tech Skills: Use tools like Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Absorb (this is our LMS – we'll teach this to you); troubleshoot as needed. 
• Professionalism: Communicate well, stay calm under pressure, and show emotional intelligence in team settings.

What We Need from You:

Technical Skills 

• Proven experience as a videographer and video editor (portfolio required) 
• Proficiency with editing software such as: Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition) 
• Strong understanding of: Camera operation (DSLR / mirrorless / cinema cameras), Lighting techniques (studio and on-location), and Audio recording (lav mics, shotgun mics, basic sound treatment) 
• Ability to color correct and color grade footage 
• Basic motion graphics and text animation skills (After Effects or similar preferred) 
• Experience exporting videos in multiple formats and resolutions 
• Experience maintaining and caring for equipment (required) 
• The ability to stand for at least two hours, to work inside and outside, and lift 50 lbs. (required) 

Helpful Skills
The following are “nice to have,” rather than required 

• Familiarity with social media trends and video best practices 
• Understanding of basic marketing concepts (branding, CTAs, audience targeting) 
• Ability to create content that supports lead generation, brand awareness, or sales 
• Photography skills 
• Drone operation (FAA Part 107 a plus, if applicable) 
• Scriptwriting or interview experience 
• Live streaming or podcast recording experience 
• Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva) 
• Experience with scriptwriting and storyboarding (helpful) 
• Familiar with SCORM authoring tools for interactive eLearning content (helpful) 
• Experience working within an LMS (helpful) 
• Understanding of the adult learning process (helpful)
