TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Spartanburg, South Carolina, 29303!

Job Title: Resource Pool Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred; will consider 1 year on a case-by-case basis License: Pending license accepted; must have prior to start Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Ability to pass arrhythmia and medication test on the first day. Description: Position is for a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Resource Pool. Two on-call shifts or two additional shifts per six weeks are required. Will consider 48-hour shifts if interested. Patient ratios are 1:6. Must have at least 2 years of experience; first-timers will be accepted. Weekend requirements are as needed. On-call is required: either two on-call shifts or two additional shifts per six weeks. The clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs. Must be available for both campuses if needed. Not open to accommodating block scheduling. Previous charge experience is preferred. Patient ratio experience should be 5. Charting system experience is preferred. Travel experience is not required. Preferred skills include BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, chest tubes, CVA management, feeding tube care, heparin protocols, and interpretation of dysrhythmias, among others. The position requires floating to all medical/surgical telemetry units, cardiac stepdown, and overflow areas. Attendance policy applies; if more than two shifts per 13-week contract are missed without reasonable explanation, the contract will be reviewed for cancellation. All requests for time off must be submitted initially and will not be accepted after that. Candidates must go into the lab within 24 hours after signing. Compliance documents are due five business days prior to the scheduled start. Modules are not required.
