This position is located in our Palmer Therapeutic Court office in the Palmer State Office Building. What You Will Be Doing:
The Therapeutic court provides important public safety interventions in protecting the public by helping to reduce criminal offenses committed by drug and alcohol addicted people and offenders with mental health problems.
In this position, as a Criminal Justice Technician, you will assist the Probation Officer in providing case management, intensive treatment, community supervision, frequent, random testing for substance use, while constantly monitoring and reporting compliance of all participants to the Courts. Additionally, in this position, you will conduct routine and random drug screenings by various mediums, including urine and saliva, using proper handling and chain of custody for participants involved in the Therapeutic Court Programs.
This position requires working some weekends and holidays as needed. Mission and Values/Culture:
